Futurism favoured the showing of speed, technology, and modernity as inspiration for portraying the dynamic character of 20th century life. For the first of the Three Weeks In October, the short project is to visually represent the nine principle prepositions. These being:-

ONOMATOPOEIA
The second task is about onomatopoeia. More specifically, visualising those words that sound like what they are describing. This second task is to make a thirty second animation featuring six onomatopoeic words featuring the words themselves, and an audiovisual representation of those words.
The group of six I have selected are:-
Fizz
Boing
Cackle
Drip
Boo
Whip
This task must also feature a collaboration with a Level Five student, working together in some way so that the work is completed by both. It must also reflect on a given genre - mine being gothic horror.

The third task is to use the Staffordshire University Animation Department branding, animating to the length of the sound clip given, to create a short sting to go alongside showreels for the university department. Working with someone from the same class, this is to test the skills needed to animate to sound and work to a tight brief.
